Job Description: Ultrasound Tech

Shift/Hours:

• Day Shift: Full-Time, 36 hrs./wk., 7:45am-4:15pm, Monday-Friday
• Evening Shift: Full-Time, 36 hrs./wk., 11:00am-11:30pm, Friday-Sunday

Holiday/Weekend Requirement:

• Weekends: Saturday - Sunday, Weekend rotation every 4 weeks
• Holidays: Rotating

On Call Requirement:

• 1 Day per week, 30 min call time, no call rooms.

Responsibilities:

Performs high-quality Ultrasound procedures within the scope of state licensure at a technical and professional level that does not require direct supervision. Performs appropriate patient evaluation and uses proper technical factors for diagnostic image production.

Internal Pay Scale:

• Ultrasound Tech I: Min $43.75 | Max $55.61
• Ultrasound Tech II: Min $45.94 | Max $58.66

Shift Differential:

• - **Evenings (3pm - 11pm):** $3.00
• - **Nights (11pm - 7am):** $4.00
• - **Standby:** $4.00
• - **Weekend:** $2.25

Start accruing the differential after 4 hours of working in the different zone.

Must Haves:

• Certification: BLS, ARDMS credentials in Abdomen and OB/GYN specialties required.
• Experience: At least one year of experience required.
• Education: Associates in Applied Science - Allied Health Science.

Preferred:

• Experience: 2 years of recent experience in Vascular, Non-Vascular, Breast, OB, or 1 year experience in abdomen and OB/GYN exams. Prefer Vascular Registry. MFM preferred.
• Certification: May consider Tech level 1 candidates with ARRT or ARDMS registry with one year of clinical experience.

About the Unit:

• Patient Population: Rotate between clinic and Inpatient/Outpatient - Vascular, Non-Vascular, Breast, OB
• Tech to Patient Ratio: 1:1

Dress Code:

• Solid color scrubs required, no patterns or prints.
